Which tabs does an asset have?

An asset opens on Dashboard; next to it are tabs for the live readings, the installation, alarms, reports, documents, warranties, revenue and more. Which tabs you see depends on your role, on whether the site has a battery and on whether the site was set up with the configurator.

Why it matters

Everything about one site sits under one name, so you do not have to search. When a tab is missing, your role lacks the right, or the site does not have that part, such as a battery.

What you see

Above the tabs

Part What it shows or does
Assets and the name The breadcrumb back to the list of assets, and the site's name. Next to the name a notice shows when a data source waits or fails
Configure asset Opens the configurator when the site was set up with it, otherwise General. Admin and Operator only
Fetching first data… Shown at the top while the site's first data is still coming in

The tabs, in their order on screen

Tab What it is for When and for whom More
Dashboard Live power, availability and open alarms, with the site's dashboards Always; every role, the customer too Dashboard
Monitoring The live state: for solar current power, daily yield, PR and the inverters; for a battery power, SoC and SoH Always; every role, the customer too Monitoring
Installation The diagram of the published installation, read-only Always; every role, the customer too Installation
Battery Per day how each battery system worked, with exclusions, warranty, tests and protocols Only for a site with a battery; every role, the customer too Battery
Analytics Production, PR, availability and data coverage over a period; for a battery the battery analysis Always; every role, the customer too Analytics
Alarms The site's alarms and faults, with their counts Always; every role, the customer too Alarms
Curtailment Who curtailed the park and how much was curtailed per day Always; every role, the customer too Curtailment
Report The KPI overview and the generated reports Always; every role, the customer too Report
Inspections The site's published inspection reports Admin, Operator and Viewer Inspections
Documents The manufacturer's documents for the site's devices Always; every role, the customer too Documents
Warranties The warranty terms with their status today Admin, Operator and Viewer Warranties
Revenue Revenue, capture price, day-ahead price, missed revenue and avoided costs Admin and Operator; a customer when Show value in € is on Revenue
Devices Dataloggers, linked devices and the last packet, read-only Only for a site from the configurator; Admin, Operator and Viewer Devices
Inverters The inverters with group, model, serial number and DC capacity, read-only Only for a site from the configurator, not for a battery site; Admin, Operator and Viewer Inverters
General Name, customer, location, photo, archiving and deleting Only for a site not from the configurator, through Configure asset; Admin, Operator and Viewer Configuration
Technical Capacities, contract dates, guarantees, reference PR and grid connections As General Configuration

For a battery site from the configurator the row ends at Devices; for a solar park from the configurator Inverters follows.

Configuration: General, Technical, Devices, Inverters

For a site not from the configurator, Devices and Inverters are not in the row above. They then sit with General and Technical in a row of their own, which Configure asset opens. A finished step gets a ✓ after its name. A Viewer sees "read-only" after the subtitle.

One inverter

When you choose an inverter, it gets tabs of its own.

Tab What you see Who sees it
Dashboard State, Power now, Yield today, Specific yield next to the park median, Availability today, the power next to the other inverters, the strings and this inverter's alarms Every role, the customer too
Inverter configuration The inverter's details and strings Admin, Operator and Viewer

When you open an inverter from an alarm, the alarm's Explanation and Possible causes come first. The chart then shows the Alarm day.

How to do it

  1. Open Assets and choose the site. The site opens on Dashboard. Open in Alpha
  2. Choose a tab in the row below the site's name.
  3. Want to see one inverter? Choose the inverter on Monitoring. It opens on its own Dashboard tab.
  4. Want to change the site's details? Choose Configure asset. You land on General, or in the configurator when the site was set up with it.
  5. Fill in General and choose Save and continue. You move on to Technical. Then come Devices and Inverters.
