What is on the Dashboard tab of an asset?
The Dashboard tab is the first page of an asset: three live figures and below them the dashboard linked to the site. Above every tab is the same header with the site's name, the buttons and the row of tabs.
Why it matters
Here you see at a glance whether a site delivers, whether it is available and whether alarms are open. If something is wrong, you go from here to the alarms, the map or the live table to look further.
What you see
The header above every tab
| Part | What it shows or does |
|---|---|
| Assets › name | The breadcrumb back to the Assets list, and the site's name as the title |
| Exclamation mark by the name | Only when a data source does not deliver. Amber: the source waits, for example for the FusionSolar daily limit. Red: the source fails. Point at it for the datalogger's name and the reason |
| Show on map | Only on Dashboard and Monitoring. Opens the map with this site selected |
| Configure asset | Only for Admin and Operator. Opens the configurator for a site set up in the configurator, else the General tab |
| Row of tabs | Dashboard, Monitoring, Installation, Battery for a battery, then Analytics, Alarms and the rest. You only see the tabs your role may open; see Asset tabs |
| Fetching first data… | Only for a site with a battery whose connection was just made and has no data yet. Shows on every tab until the first data is in; then the page reloads by itself |
At the top of the tab
| Part | What it shows or does |
|---|---|
| No datalogger linked | Only when the site has no datalogger. With the button Link datalogger to Devices |
| Live power | The power of the latest measurement, with Last measurement and the time below it. A dash when the site has no datalogger or is offline |
| Availability | The availability from the latest measurement. A dash when the site has no datalogger, is offline or the source gives no value |
| Open alarms | The number of open alarms of the site. Click it for the Alarms tab, if your role may open it |
The dashboard bar
| Part | What it shows or does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Choose which dashboard you see. The linked dashboard is called [Default] …, a draft gets (draft) after its name |
| Object choice | Only on a dashboard for one inverter, or for a battery one container or rack. Choose which inverter or which part you see |
| Period | One period for every widget with time. Step on with Previous period and Next period. As long as you choose nothing it reads Period per widget: each widget keeps its own period |
| Granularity | One step size for every widget, from 1m to 1mo. Per widget lets each widget keep its own step size |
| TV view | Only for Admin and Operator. Opens the dashboard in the TV view |
| Edit | Only for Admin and Operator. Opens Change linked dashboard with the site's dashboards. The linked one has the label Linked. Another template dashboard has Link to this asset, any other Edit in builder |
The widgets
Which widgets show depends on the linked dashboard. Every widget with time has the same buttons at its top right:
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Period of … | A period of its own for this widget only. Back to the set period or Back to own period resets it |
| Auto-update … | On (the default): the widget reads again as soon as new data of the site comes in. Off: the widget stays as it is |
| Widget menu … | Full screen, Refresh, Export as CSV or Excel (.xlsx) when the widget shows data, and for Admin and Operator Open in builder |
| Chart and Table | On a chart: switch between the chart and the same figures as a table |
Below a widget's title are its period and step size, such as "7 d · per 1 hour". After that it can say:
| Text | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Last measurement and a time | The newest value the widget shows |
| Out of date | The newest value is older than two of the widget's steps, while the period still runs |
| Night | All lines follow the sun and their last value is zero |
| Estimated | Some of the values are estimated |
| … of … without data | Some of the widget's lines have no value in the period |
| No data | The widget has nothing in the period |
Solar park. The standard dashboard Asset standaard shows Asset-afbeelding, Kerncijfers (availability, EPI including curtailment, production, specific yield, insolation, satellite insolation, performance ratio and air temperature over the last 7 days), Vermogen en instraling, Assetgegevens, Productie en beschikbaarheid, Omvormerprestatie, Instralingssensoren, PR sensor en satelliet and AC-spanning (gem.). These are the names the dashboard gives its widgets.
Battery. The standard dashboard Batterij standaard shows Kerncijfers, Vermogen en laadtoestand, Batterijgegevens (with capacity, usable capacity, rated power, cell chemistry, manufacturer, number of PCS and number of racks), Geladen en ontladen per dag, Import en export aansluitpunt, Celtemperatuur en spanningsspreiding, PCS-vermogen en hulpverbruik, Laatste metingen and Open alarmen.
When the site has no linked dashboard you only see the three figures; an Admin or Operator then sees the Edit button. A dashboard without widgets shows No widgets.
