What is on the Revenue tab of an asset?
The Revenue tab shows what one site's export was worth at the day-ahead price. It also shows how much value curtailment, faults and downtime cost.
Why it matters
Here you see in euros what the site earned and what was left on the table. You learn which cause costs the most money, and where a quick repair or a claim pays off most.
What you see
Breakdown
At the top you choose Per quarter-hour, Per day or Per month. Per day is the default.
| Choice | Period |
|---|---|
| Per quarter-hour | The last 7 days |
| Per day | The last 31 days |
| Per month | The last 12 months, this month included |
Tiles
| Item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Revenue | The value of the export in the period. Below it: the export in MWh |
| Capture price | What the site earned per MWh on average. Below it: where the export was measured, such as Meter · 100.0 % or Inverters |
| Day-ahead avg. | The mean day-ahead price in the period. Below it: the price source, such as ENTSO-E, Energy-Charts or Simulator |
| Missed | The value of the energy lost to curtailment, faults or downtime |
| Avoided cost | The value of energy not delivered while the price was negative |
Revenue and missed
A chart with, per quarter-hour, day or month, a Revenue bar and a stacked Missed bar split into Curtailment, Fault and Availability. The line is Day-ahead avg. in €/MWh. Without rows there is no chart.
Missed
A table with per cause the Loss in MWh and the Value:
| Cause | What counts |
|---|---|
| Curtailment | Energy a limit held back |
| Fault | A fault and derating of the inverters |
| Availability | Other downtime, such as planned maintenance or a grid that is not available |
Per quarter-hour, Per day or Per month
A table with one row per quarter-hour, day or month, newest at the top. The title follows the chosen breakdown.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Period | The quarter-hour, day or month |
| Export | The export in MWh |
| Revenue | The value of the export |
| Capture price | Revenue per MWh in that row |
| Day-ahead avg. | The mean day-ahead price in that row |
| Curtailment, Fault, Availability | The missed value per cause |
| Avoided cost | The avoided cost in that row |
- A dash for the capture price means: no export with a price.
- Both tables have an export button for CSV or Excel.
- "No data" means there are no rows in the period.
Solar park or battery
The tab computes both the same way. Only the export counts; what the site takes from the grid does not.
Who sees what
| Role | Sees the tab |
|---|---|
| Admin | Yes |
| Operator | Yes |
| Viewer | No |
| Customer | Only when Show value in € is on for them |
Without that right the tab is not there. An Admin turns Show value in € on for the customer; see Organisations.
