What data does Alpha get from Sungrow iSolarCloud?

Every 5 minutes Alpha reads the newest values of the inverters and meteo stations, and every 15 minutes Sungrow's faults and alarms. Strings, grid meter, temperatures outside the inverter and history do not come from Sungrow.

Why it matters

Without the owner's consent Alpha does not see the park, and there is no PR, availability or alarms. When the owner withdraws consent, fetching stops until they give consent again.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings and choose the API keys tab. Choose Add access and fill in your own Sungrow application: App key, Secret key and Authorize URL. Only an admin can do this. Open in Alpha
  2. Choose Connect to Sungrow. The owner logs in at Sungrow, picks the plants and gives consent. Sungrow then sends them back to Alpha.
  3. Open Assets, choose the site and choose Configure asset. Open in Alpha
  4. Go to the Data connections step. Choose Add connection with Sungrow iSolarCloud (cloud API), and choose the key and the plant.
  5. Give each inverter the serial number Sungrow knows. Check with Test connection.
  6. Publish the configuration in the Go-live step with Publish.
