What data does Alpha get from Huawei FusionSolar?

Every 5 minutes Alpha reads the values of the inverters, strings, grid meter and weather station, and every 15 minutes Huawei's alarm list. Once, Alpha also fetches the daily totals of up to 25 months before the connection.

Why it matters

Without this data Alpha has no PR, no availability and no alarms for the park. Inverters whose serial number does not match deliver no values. The park then looks silent while it produces.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings and choose the API keys tab. Choose Add access and fill in the Northbound account: User name and Password (system code). Only an admin can add a key. Open in Alpha
  2. Open Assets, choose the site and choose Configure asset. Open in Alpha
  3. Go to the Data connections step. Choose Add connection with Huawei FusionSolar (cloud API).
  4. Choose the saved key and the plant. Give each inverter the serial number (ESN) Huawei knows.
  5. Check the connection with Test connection. The test shows the serial numbers Huawei knows.
  6. Publish the configuration in the Go-live step with Publish. Fetching starts after that.
