How does Alpha calculate the yield and the loss of a fault?

The yield comes from the inverters' day counters. The loss of a fault is an estimate: what the park could have delivered under the light, minus what it delivered.

Why it matters

The loss decides which fault gets attention first: the Faults list sorts on it, among other things. The value in euro shows what a fault costs, and so what a fast repair earns.

How to do it

  1. Open Assets and pick the site. The Monitoring tab shows the Current power and the Daily yield. Open in Alpha
  2. The Analytics tab shows the Production and the Data coverage over the chosen period.
  3. Open Alarms and open a fault. The Estimated loss tile shows the kWh, the value in euro and how the loss was found. Open in Alpha
  4. Want the loss valued at the park's own price? Open the site's configurator with Configure asset. In the step Park details, block Contract & yield, fill in Value per kWh (โ‚ฌ).
