How does Alpha calculate the availability of a PV park?

Availability is the share of daylight time in which the inverters produced. It counts time, not energy.

Why it matters

Every hour an inverter stands still in daylight costs yield. An availability guarantee in a contract is judged on figures like this one.

Open Assets and pick the site. Open in Alpha
The Analytics tab shows the Availability over the chosen period.
The Curtailment tab has the block Availability and losses, with technical, uncorrected and contractual availability.
