Is this a fault or is the string not configured?
When the string is in the string layout and delivers (almost) nothing in strong light while the other strings deliver at least 1 A, it is a fault: status No production and, after an hour, the alarm String not producing. An input that is not in the string layout and delivers nothing is Not in use and never raises an alarm.
Why it matters
A broken string costs yield every sunny day. A mistake in the string layout gives false alarms instead, or hides a string that does deliver. So check the layout before you send someone to the site.
How to do it
- Open Assets, choose the site and open the tab Dashboard. Choose a dashboard with the widget Inverter strings, such as the template Standaard omvormerdashboard or MPPT- en stringfoutzoeker. Open in Alpha
- Look at the column Status of each input: OK, Low, No production, No data or Not in use.
- Check the site's tab Alarms for an open alarm String not producing.
- Check the string layout. The tab Installation shows the published installation. You change it with Configure asset in the step Topology.
- In the configurator, open the step Validation and look at the card Strings against measurements. Take a proposal over with Apply. Then Publish, see Can I go live with this error?.
- Is the layout right and does the string still deliver nothing? Then it is a fault. Handle it as in How do I handle a fault?.
