Which alarm rules apply to a battery?

A battery has rules for cells and temperature, for use, and for contract and warranty. They look day and night and never fire on a site without battery readings.

Why it matters

Cells that run too hot, too cold or too far apart age faster and cost usable capacity. A battery that is not available costs money under the contract. These rules often see it before the battery reports a fault itself.

How to do it

  1. Open Alarms and choose the Alarm rules tab. Choose Settings on a battery rule to see or change thresholds, delay and its own settings, such as SoC min (%), SoC max (%), Cold mark (°C) or Outlier spread (mV). Open in Alpha
  2. Balance band for Celonbalans: open Settings, tab Battery models. Under Enclosures choose the enclosure's model. In BMS profile fill in Balance band from (%), Balance band to (%) and Cell spread (mV) and choose Save. Open in Alpha
  3. The battery page of the site shows what counts now. Choose the site first. Open in Alpha
