How do I make a dashboard?

Why it matters

A published dashboard is what colleagues and customers see when they open a site. A template dashboard gives every site of the same kind the same page, so you compare sites quickly.

How to do it

1. Open Insight → Dashboards and choose New dashboard. Open in Alpha
2. Fill in the Name.
3. Under "What kind of dashboard are you making?" choose Template dashboard or Custom dashboard.
4. Under Installations choose PV or Battery (BESS).
5. For a template dashboard, choose the Level: Portfolios, Assets or Inverters. For a battery the last level is called Containers and racks.
6. Under Start with choose Blank canvas, Monitoring overview or Alarm overview.
7. Choose Create dashboard. The builder opens.
8. Place the views and other widgets on the page and choose Publish.
