How do I make a performance report?

Why it matters

The report is what the customer sees of their site's performance. A report with missing data stays a draft and is never sent on its own.

How to do it

Quick report

1. Open Insight → Reports. Open in Alpha
2. In Report period pick the year and the month. The list is then called Reports covering that month; without a month it is Published reports.
3. Under Report settings fill in Asset, Title (may stay empty), Start date, End date, Language and Comparison (Plan or Previous period).
4. Choose Generate report at the bottom of the card. The report opens.

Report builder

1. Choose Generate report at the top of Reports, or on a site's Report tab. Open in Alpha
2. Pick the asset, the Start date and End date (or a Quick period), the Report language and Brand / template.
3. Under Sections tick what goes into the report.
4. Under Key figures tick which cards you show.
5. Choose Refresh preview and check the result on the right.
6. Choose Save report. After that, Export PDF makes a fixed version.
